Position summary: 

The Digital Content Producer is part of the Office of Marketing and Communications at Washington State University Vancouver and will be responsible for digital marketing including email campaigns, social media, events calendar, web content creation and editing, and related marketing tasks. This position requires a proven blend of editorial skills (writing, editing and proofreading) and technical know-how.

Minimum requirements: 

A Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Humanities, Public Relations, Digital Technology and Culture, or related field OR Four (4) years of writing/editing/public relations, digital publishing experience or equivalent education/experience.

Preferred qualifications: 

Demonstrated proficiency in writing, editing and proofreading.

Experience creating and distributing email campaigns.

Experience with professional social media management, interaction and content scheduling using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Flickr and YouTube.

Experience with HTML text formatting and editing web pages in a content management system such as Drupal or WordPress.

Experience working with web analytics, including search engine optimization, performance tracking, and keyword identification and promotion.

Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design and image-editing.

Work schedule: 
Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary: 
$2,665.00 per month
