Community Service Officer

Position summary: 

General physical security duties, parking enforcement, public assistance (i.e.: jump starts, locking/unlocking doors), patrolling, safety escorts, assisting police officers, and basic report writing/logs. 

Minimum requirements: 

Minimum age of 18

Ability to successfully pass a background check (to include fingerprinting)

Possess a valid driver’s license

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.

Preferred qualifications: 

Competent skills in security work with prior experience in campus security and/or parking enforcement.

Flexible schedule based on current department needs.

Work schedule: 
16 – 18 hours per week
Salary: 
$12.00 per hour
