Positions require a Bachelor’s Degree and one (1) year of experience directly related to student services. A Master’s degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Must have or be able to obtain at time of hire, a valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel, work some weekends and evenings.

Positions require a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and six (6) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least three (3) years of managerial experience. A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: employee relations, classification/compensation, training and development, labor relations, reasonable accommodation and Family Medical Leave Act.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience leading and directing the day-to-day operations of an HR function.
Demonstrated experience supervising staff including professional-level HR staff.
Demonstrated experience conducting investigations, and preparing findings and reports.
Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying laws, rules, collective bargaining agreements, and policies and procedures.
Demonstrated ability to interact with large groups and individuals at all work levels.
Experience working with a diverse workforce or equity initiatives.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and software applications.
A record showing commitment to customer service and the application of appropriate flexibility in response to issues and opposing points of view.
