A 24-hour online giving challenge
WSU Vancouver participates in the Give More 24 campaign sponsored by the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington. Donors choose among participating causes, including the university’s Second Chance Scholarship Fund.
The campaign urges everyone who cares about Southwest Washington to take action by giving what they can, wherever they are, at the same time.
How to give
The 2017 Give More 24 campaign will launch at midnight on Sept. 21 and run through midnight the next day. To make your donation count for Give More 24, you must make your gift through give-more-24.org during that 24-hour period.
In 2016, more than $6,000 was raised for WSU Vancouver students within 24 hours.
If you weren’t able to contribute during the campaign but would still like to support WSU Vancouver, you can make a gift online or send a check to the Department of Development & Alumni Relations.
What our scholarship recipients have to say about the Second Chance Scholarship:
“It actually restored hope and has allowed me to really thrive and continue my education. It has opened the doors that come with the completion of an academic degree. I don’t believe that I would have a degree without this scholarship.”
“It was really profound and surreal for me to have that [scholarship] support. It was the answer to that leap of faith I took to keep going to school and it allowed me to pursue my last two semesters.”
