3. Is someone from Career Services available to come to my class to talk about services for students in my discipline specifically?
With advanced notice, the career counselor can present to your class for an hour on one of the following topics: resume/cover letter, or interviewing skills and job-search strategies. These are more focused on general career development and not tailored to a specific discipline. Your department may have guest speakers available. Please check with your academic director for those specialized speakers. To arrange for one of the general career development workshops please contact the career counselor at 360-546-9224.
