Parking citations are issued for violations of the WSU Vancouver Campus Parking & Traffic Regulations in accordance with Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 504-19. Everyone parking on campus is required to abide by these codes. The online Fee & Fine Schedule provides current and detailed information about citation types and fine amounts.
Ignorance of the code is not cause for the dismissal of any citation. It is the responsibility of the citation holder to go online or contact the Dept. of Parking Services within the 10 calendar day appeal window to explore possible warning, fine reduction ("Overtime" citations only), or appeal options. Instructions and contact information are printed clearly on the back of each citation, including the phone number and physical, email, and web site address of the Parking Services office.
Please Note: All appeals for citations must be made within 10 calendar days of the citation's issue date. After the 10 days, no appeals will be accepted and the citation automatically stands. All appeals must be submitted by using the online parking appeal system.
If the online system cannot be accessed by the appellant, an email request during the appeal timeframe may be made to the Parking Services office for internal processing into the appeal database. No other appeals will be accepted.
After 30 days all unpaid citations will have an administrative fee of $25 added to the outstanding balance and will be submitted for collection.
Citations may be paid online directly via our web portal, in person at the Parking Services office (in the Physical Plant building), or by mailing the payment and citation information to Parking Services at 14204 NE Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver, WA, 98686-9600. Questions regarding citation payments may be emailed to ParkingServices@vancouver.wsu.edu or called in to (360) 546-9009.
