Chancellor's Award for Advancing Equity
The Chancellor’s Award for Advancing Equity honors an individual faculty or staff member for excellence in building and expanding a community of equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging at WSU Vancouver. The award recognizes this individual’s outstanding contributions to realizing one or more of the objectives from Goal 4 of the WSU Vancouver strategic plan.
Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence
The Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence recognizes outstanding scholarly achievement by a member of the WSU Vancouver faculty whose research quality and quantity are exemplary, and whose work has had a positive influence on the broader community. Presented annually at Commencement.
Chancellor's Award for Service to WSU Vancouver
The Chancellor's Award for Service to WSU Vancouver recognizes and salutes selfless dedication and commitment to the WSU Vancouver community through participation in campus activities, leadership on behalf of WSU Vancouver and dedication of time, talent and resources toward advancing WSU’s mission. Presented annually at the WSU Vancouver commencement ceremony.
Chancellor's Award for Staff Excellence
The Chancellor's Award for Staff Excellence recognizes and salutes the dedication and commitment of a staff member in advancing WSU Vancouver’s mission. Award criteria include participation in campus activities, excellence in the staff member’s role, leadership on behalf of the university and going the “extra mile” on behalf of WSU Vancouver.
Chancellor's Award for Student Achievement
The Chancellor's Award for Student Achievement recognizes an outstanding graduating student each academic year. Students are selected based on academic achievement and love of learning, overcoming barriers in pursuit of academic goals, future leadership potential, community service, involvement in campus life and other examples of achievement. Presented annually at the WSU Vancouver commencement ceremony.
Students' Award for Teaching Excellence
The Students' Award for Teaching Excellence recognizes a faculty member who commits time outside of the classroom to prevent students from falling through the cracks, demonstrates an enthusiasm for the subject matter, and instills enthusiasm and passion in students. Selected by students and presented annually at the WSU Vancouver Commencement ceremony.
