Assistant Professor of Psychology
Position Summary
Washington State University Vancouver invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning 8/16/2012.
Social Psychology candidates are sought with a preferred interest in health psychology. Position duties include teaching undergraduate/graduate courses, developing a strong research program and providing service to the university and profession.
Minimum Requirements
Required qualifications: Ph.D. in Social Psychology or related field at the time of employment and demonstrated ability to:
(1) develop a program of research with reasonable likelihood to lead to extramural funding.
(2) teach undergraduate/graduate courses in psychology.
(3) demonstrated ability to contribute to our diversity goals: incorporate issues of diversity.

Preferred Qualifications
A program of research that will contribute to a developing emphasis in health psychology in the department.
