WSU has four distinct classifications of employees. When recruiting for an open position, each classification is approached differently; therefore, when applying for a position, please follow the directions carefully to ensure your candidacy.

Faculty searches

Academic departments conduct searches for open faculty positions. Please consult position announcements for application instructions.

Civil service and administrative professional recruitments

You must apply directly on-line for these positions. Applications are accepted only during the period of time that is indicated on the position posting. You must meet the stated minimum qualifications to be considered for employment.

To apply for a staff opening, you must apply at www.wsujobs.com - "search postings" by using the "location" criteria. On-line applications must be received no later than 11:59 p.m. on the closing date listed on the posting. Faxed and/or mailed in applications will not be accepted.

Temporary and student employment

You must apply for most all temporary positions through CougLink, an on-line recruiting source. Select "Students," - "Find a Job," "Select ALL criteria that corresponds with On-Campus jobs," and finally, choose the "Advanced Tab" to search by "Campus."
