As an institution that is committed to diversity, WSU Vancouver strives to support all members of our community, including GLBTQ (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning) students, faculty, and staff. Our campus offers Safe Zone and Cultural Competency trainings to educate the wider campus community and foster an environment of inclusion, appreciation, and celebration of WSU Vancouver’s GLBTQ community.

One of WSU Vancouver’s most active student organizations is Cougar Pride Club, which organizes and sponsors GLBTQ-related cultural, social, and educational events.
