March 12, 2012 - The search has concluded: Netzhammer named new WSU Vancouver chancellor

The 17 members of the search committee for the next Chancellor of Washington State University Vancouver are committed to keeping the university community and the general public informed about the progress of the process that will ultimately lead to the selection of the next Chancellor. This website is the means by which the committee will share its progress until its work is complete.

The search committee, working closely with an experienced national search firm, will recommend top candidates to WSU President Elson S. Floyd for his consideration as the next Chancellor. Prior to the committee’s recommendation, there will be opportunities for those interested to share their thoughts and meet the finalists for the position.

The search committee is focused on finding the person who is the right “fit” for the university and the community. The right fit is a person who will continue to lead WSU Vancouver in its mission to provide world-class higher education opportunities in Southwest Washington through high-quality programs with a strong research base and positive working relationships with constituents throughout the region.
